The two world finals close the season on a high note
Tiziano Moia and Jessica Pardin won the Vertical de la Mughéra, and Roberto Delorenzi and Sara Alonso took first place in the Limone Skyrunning Extreme event. With the results in hand, Matteo Lora and Mojka Koligar established themselves in the ISF (International Skyrunning Federation) VK OPEN Championship circuit ranking, of which the only-up race was the final. Antonio Martinez Perez and Clementine Geoffray became the new Skyrunning World Series champions.

The skyrunning season will be decided on Saturday: a double world final on the mountains bordering the Lombardy and Trentino regions. The striking Alto Garda location and its highly technical trails will be called upon for the 9th time in 12 editions to crown the king and queen of the season.
SKYRUNNER® WORLD SERIES SKYMASTERS
Back by popular demand and a decade since its first visit to Limone, the Skyrunner® World Series has today announced that it will return to the shores of Lake Garda, this time for the 2023 Limone Xtreme SkyMasters.
The 2023 SkyMasters event will be part of the 12th edition of Limone Xtreme, taking place on the weekend of the 28th - 29th of October. Only the season’s best skyrunners, who have qualified throughout the year, will be at the starting line.
Marcello Ugazio and Camilla Magliano leave everyone in the dust in the vertical race
Marcello Ugazio, the Italian FISKY champion, left everyone behind in the Vertical de la Mughéra. Italy’s Camilla Magliano won the women’s category of the race. About eighty skyrunners were on the starting line of the first of two races taking place in the striking location of Alto Garda.
Roberto Delorenzi and Fabiola Conti win the 11th edition
Roberto Delorenzi and Fabiola Conti won Limone Extreme 2022, leading their team to victory for the first “Skyrunning Team Awards.” Joining them in the celebrations are the other athletes of the Skyrunning Community Gianluca Ghiano, Martina Cumerlato and Daniele Felicetti. Team Scarpa and Pegarun took second and third place.

Registrations for Limone Skyrunning Extreme will officially close on Thursday evening, but undecided athletes of the last minute will have a chance to grab a bib on Saturday morning at the Race Office in Limone Sul Garda on Via Caldogno near the Convention Hall. Despite the constantly evolving starting list, the challenge for the first "Skyrunning Team Awards" title — or what has already been defined as the "world championship for private teams" — expects a close race between Scarpa, La Sportiva and Salomon ... but there is no shortage of outsiders.

Limone Skyrunning Extreme, the end-of-season happening for all sky riders returns in mid-October with Saturday races that you won't want to miss.
