It's hard to call the 10k race in Limone a second-tier event due to the caliber of the athletes: a total of 170 participated. There were many amateurs, but also extremely talented athletes. Awaiting them was a true skyrunning course of 10 kilometers with a 1,100 m ascent and stretches that could be the envy of many skyrunning events. As predicted, Andrea Callera's "bad boys" immediately set the wild pace. At the finish line on Lungolago Marconi, Team Salamon grabbed two wins.

Even if the chip registered an imperceptible difference between the two leading athletes – Marco Filosi and Alberto Vender, both from Trentino –- they shared the win with a finish time was 51'31”. Third place went to another teammate: Andrea Rota (52'19") from Lecco, who won the race in 2016. Next came Andrea Prandi (Team Hoka) and Romeu Gouveia (Portugal). In the women's category, "Ms. Bon Mardion" Elise Rouchy took the title with a finish time of 1h04'55".

She shared the podium with the Swiss athlete from Team Adidas (1h09'57”) and Daniela Vassali, the Brescian athlete from Atletica Paratico, with a finish time of 1h13'53”.
