Very few race bibs still available for the Sky. Registration for the Vertical & 10K still open

It won't be just the World Series finale for the Dynafit sponsored event...

Limone Skyrunning Extreme is practically sold out. In just a few days, the finale of the Migu Run Skyrunner® World Series assigned over 600 race bibs. Therefore, for the wonderful SkyRace of Alto Garda, scheduled for Saturday, October 14, just a very few available spots remain.

"Due to the type of course and for logistic reasons, we're forced to establish a limit in registrations," said Giovanni Fedrici of SS Limonese. "It was a tough decision to make, but necessary to avoid bottlenecks and to ensure excellent service to each competitor."  Focusing the attention on the main event of the long weekend that will close the skyrunning season, as it has done for the past 5 years, Fedrici continued, "Looking at the past for the purpose of presenting an event worthy of a world finale, we will present a few new touches that will make our skyrunning event even more spectacular. With the first ascent confirmed and the passage on the vertical of the Mughéra, we'll re-introduce the GPM of Monte Carone and the spectacular Dalco descent. This will be a true downhill challenge dedicated to super-champion Fabio Meraldi, who has been our race director and consultant for years. It will be 29 km of real skyrunning with a 2,540 meter climb, and the start and finish at the striking Lungolago Marconi location."

It won't be just the World Series finale for the Dynafit sponsored event. It all starts on Friday, Oct. 13, with the last race of the Skyrunner European Championship in the usual by night version. Registration for the Grèst de la Mughéra Vertical Kilometer is still open. To face the nearly 1,100 meter climb in a course of less than 3 km up the sheer cliffs overlooking the lake, you need to be fearless, willing to put yourself to the test, and have a headlamp with charged batteries.
Race bibs are also available for the 10k race for young athletes and newcomers to the specialty. Alba De Silvestro, the young Italian ski-mountaineering champion, will be the exceptional patroness of this shorter technical course that nevertheless offers the thrills of a real skyrunning event.  Skyrunning, great champions, trail running fans, excellent food, breathtaking views, and a memorable party after the races are the winning elements of this very popular event.
