Three races, a magical location and a fantastic final party are the winning elements of a favorite event.

The world elite of the specialty, a rush for the last few race bibs, and an exceptional guest star: US ultra-runner Anton Krupicka. Three races, a magical location and a fantastic final party are the winning elements of a favorite event. Jot down the dates of Friday, October 12, and Saturday, October 13, on your calendar!

Limone Extreme is practically sold out. Having reached the maximum limit of 600 competitors, the organizing committee has decided to offer 100 more race bibs to satisfy the numerous requests that have arrived at the registration office. Just a few bibs are still available for the vertical climb by night on Friday, October 12, while there are still lots of bibs available for the 10K race. Many women will be participating in the last race thanks to the #donnaforskyrace project that aims to attract more women to the skyrunning specialty.

At just one week from the event, there are now more than 1,000 accredited athletes. Once again the mountains of the Upper Garda region will become the "center of the world" for skyrunning, seeing that already 36 nations are currently represented.

The venue for the Migu Run Skyrunner® World Series seven times in a row, the fantastic event held on the border between the Lombardy and Trentino regions is expecting two very intense days. It will start on Friday, Oct. 12, with the spectacular by night race. A route that is 3,700 meters long, a vertical climb of 1100 meters with headlamps, and two heats with the start at 5:00 p.m. / 6:00 p.m. (elite): these are the characteristics of the most extreme vertical race in the world.

It is quite difficult to make a prediction, given the Italy - Switzerland super challenge between ski mountaineers Damiano Lenzi, Davide Magnini, Nadir Maguet, Remi Bonnet and Martin Anthamatten. Shuffling the cards on the table will also be Hannes Perkmann, Petter Engdahl and Luka Kovacic.

In the women's race, the lady to beat will once again be Christel Dewalle from France, but this time she will have to deal with Victoria Kreuzer from Switzerland and the Italian Alba De Silvestro.

On Saturday morning the long Dynafit branded weekend will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the start of the 10K race (970 mD+). At 11:00 a.m. Catalan Kilian Jornet will lead the world skyrunning gala on a tough 29 km course with a lake view (2500 D+). The king and queen of summer 2018 will emerge from this exciting challenge.

Vying for first place, in addition to the Salomon Team star, will be Marco De Gasperi, the record man of the race, and young Jan Margarit from Spain. Everyone will also have to keep an eye on Swiss athletes Remì Bonnet, Martin Anthamatten, and Pascal He and on Petter Engdahl from Sweden, the Italian Nadir Maguet, and the Norwegians Stian Angermund and Stian Aarvik. The king of the Tor de Geants Franco Collé will also compete.

The women's race will be an exciting challenge between US athlete Hilary Gerardi and Laura Orguè from Spain. Holly Page from France, Ragna Debats from the Netherlands, and Italian Elisa Desco will be the outsiders.
